Elephant Seals
Visited the Elephant Seal molting/mating/sunning grounds just south of Pescadero CA. Damned impressive creatures. Large. Vociferous. Very, very stinky.

Moss on a tree found in Año Nuevo State Reserve in Northern California. Amazing place.

Pile o' Barnacles
I picked up a Flickr Pro account and created a "desktop" group (tag?) that will contain an ever growing number of photos that I find to be quite pleasant as the backgrounds for my computing environment.
Not that I ever see my desktop or anything. They also make nice screen savers.

Bean Hollow State Beach Satellite, Pescadero CA 94060
Spent the day at Bean Hollow State Beach. Roger and I found lots of crabs, sea anemones (including huge green and purple ones), snails, and purple sea urchins.
